Materiales

Lana o hilo de algodón de grosor medio. Los colores que se necesitan son:

• Un color neutro para la tira de la que cuelgan los seis banderines (por ejemplo beige)
• Seis colores alegres para cada uno de los banderines. En las fotos de este patrón se han utilizado los siguientes colores: naranja claro o coral, rosa, morado, amarillo, azul y verde.
• Aguja de ganchillo del tamaño adecuado para el hilo elegido.

Base de los banderines

Los banderines tienen una base común que es una tira larga de color beige con dos anillas a los lados para poder colgarse de cada extremo fácilmente.

Esta tira es necesario tejerla primero, y después se unirán cada uno de los seis banderines. Con el ganchillo adecuado y el color de la base (por ejemplo beige),

- Hacer 21 cadenetas.

- Saltar 1 cadeneta, 1 p.b. en cada una de las siguientes 20 cadenetas.

- Cerrar con un punto raso o enano el último punto con el primer punto bajo que se hizo. De esta forma se crea el primer anillo o enganche para colgar la cadeneta.

- Hacer 206 cadenetas (esta es la base donde irán enganchados los banderines)

- Hacer 21 cadenetas más (para el segundo aro o enganche)

- Saltar 1 cadeneta, 1 pb. en cada una de las siguientes 20 cadenetas.

- Cerrar el aro o enganche con un punto raso o enano en el primer punto bajo que hicimos. De esta forma se ha creado el segundo anillo o enganche.

YA TENEMOS LOS DOS AROS O ENGANCHES

- Hacer un punto bajo en cada una de las 206 cadenetas del medio. 

- Hacer una cadeneta, girar la labor.

- Hacer un punto bajo en cada uno de los 206 puntos centrales.

Rematar y cortar la hebra

Banderín (hacer 6)

Cada banderín o cenefa tiene una base de 26 puntos y a partir de ahí empieza a disminuir un punto por cada una de las vueltas hasta llegar a un solo punto y conseguir así la forma de triángulo.

Con el ganchillo adecuado y el color del primer banderín (por ejemplo naranja),

En la base de los banderines, dejar 10 puntos desde el primer enganche y desde ahí tejer 26 p.p. en los 26 puntos siguientes. (26)

Rematar y entretejer la hebra

Con hilo del mismo color, hacer un borde alrededor del triángulo de puntos bajos, para darle consistencia al banderín y que tenga un poco más de cuerpo.

Girar la labor y hacer otra vuelta de puntos rasos sobre esa primera vuelta alrededor de puntos bajos.

Rematar y entretejer la hebra.

Una vez tejido el primer banderín, se tejen los otros cinco exactamente igual. Entre cada uno de ellos hay que dejar un espacio de 6 puntos.

Materials

Medium size yarn. We need these colors:

• Neutral color for the strip which sustains the 6 pennants (beige, for instance)
• Six cheerful colors for the six pennants. I have used for the photos of this pattern: coral, pink, purple, yellow, blue and green.
• Crochet hook with a size suitable for the yarn size

Base of the pennants

The pennants have a common base which is a long beige strip with a ring at each end (for the pennants to be hang out easily).
You have to crochet this strip first and after that you will join every pennant to the strip.
With the right hook and the strip color yarn (beige for instance),

- Make 21 loose chains.
- Skip 1 chain, 1 sc in the next 20 chains
- Close together with a slip stitch the last stitch and the first stitch. This way we will obtain the first ring to hang out the pennants.
- Make 206 loose chains (this is the base where the pennants will be hooked)
- Make 21 more chains (for the second ring)
- Skip 1 chain, 1 sc in the next 20 chains
- Close together with a slip stitch the last sc with the first sc of these last 20 sc. This way we will obtain the second ring to hang out the pennants.

AT THIS POINT WE HAVE MADE THE TWO RINGS AT BOTH SIDES OF THE STRIP

- Make 1 sc at every one of the 206 chains in the middle
- Make 1 chain, turn the work
- Make 1 sc at every one of the 206 chains in the middle

Fasten off and hide the yarn.

Pennant (make 6)

Every pennant has a 26 stitches base and you have to decrease 1 stitch at every round so at the end you obtain a single stitch. This way the pennant has the shape of a triangle.

With the right hook and the first pennant color yarn (orange for instance),

In the base of the pennants, skip 10 stitches from the first ring and make 26 sc in the next 26 stitches of the beige strip. (26)

With the same color, make a sc border around the triangle (I mean, you have to crochet simple stitches all around the pennant, except the base). This way you can give consistency to the pennant.

Turn the work and crochet another round all of slip stitches.
